Frequently Asked Questions

Questions? We'd Rather Answer Them Here Than Have You Guess.

The stuff people usually ask before working with us — pricing, process, timelines, and how we actually operate. If your question isn't here, ask us directly. We'd rather give you a straight answer than have you make assumptions.

Getting Started

Pricing & Getting Started

It depends entirely on scope — a logo is priced differently than a full ecommerce build with ongoing marketing. We don't publish blanket pricing because "starting at" numbers are usually misleading once real scope enters the picture.

You'll get a fixed quote after a free strategy call, based on what you actually need.

No default lock-in. Project-based work such as websites, apps, and design is scoped and priced per project.

Ongoing services such as SEO, ads, and content are structured as clear, scoped monthly engagements — we'd rather earn a renewal than force one.

We ask about your business, what's not working currently, and what you're trying to achieve.

You'll walk away with an honest read on whether we're the right fit — not a hard sales pitch regardless of fit.

No. A lot of clients come in with a general problem such as "our site is slow" or "we're not getting leads" rather than a fully scoped project.

Figuring out the right approach is part of the strategy call.

Our Approach

How We Work

Yes — that's the actual reason LumaCoding exists instead of being three separate freelancers.

One team handles development, design, and marketing, so nothing gets lost in translation between vendors who've never spoken to each other.

Just one service is completely fine. Plenty of clients start with a single project — usually a website or SEO — and add more later once they see how we work.

Nothing is forced into a package.

As involved as you want to be. Weekly check-ins keep you updated without requiring daily input.

You'll see real progress throughout — not a single reveal at the end with no visibility in between.

Yes. While some pages on this site are built for specific industries such as real estate or healthcare, or audiences such as small businesses, that reflects specialization, not exclusivity.

We work with a wide range of businesses and organizations.

Delivery

Timelines & Process

It varies by service — a small business website might take 2–4 weeks, while a custom app build can run 6–12 weeks or more.

You'll get a real timeline in your proposal based on actual scope, not a generic estimate.

We'll talk through it honestly — sometimes it's a quick adjustment, sometimes it changes the timeline or price.

What we won't do is silently absorb scope creep and then surprise you with a bigger invoice at the end.

No. Post-launch support is included by default on project work, and ongoing maintenance or marketing support is available if you want it.

We're not aiming for a one-time transaction.

Transparency

Working Relationship & Trust

Fair question — it happens in this industry more than it should.

Every project includes defined post-launch support written into the proposal, not just promised verbally.

Yes. Source files, code, and design assets are handed over as your property.

You're not locked into a format or platform only we can access.

Our team handles the work directly. That's part of why one team can cover development, design, and marketing consistently.

It's not being farmed out to different freelancers with no shared context.

Say so as early as possible. The weekly check-in structure exists specifically so issues get caught early.

That is much better than discovering a problem after final delivery, when changes become more expensive and frustrating for everyone.
